From the depths of Vienna emerges Khor (aka Max Bauer) – a sonic conjurer weaving a fusion of dark industrial and raw, earth-shattering energy. In his productions, he conjures both slow, ritualistic invocations and unrelenting, ecstatic destruction, while his live performances unleash the raw, relentless energy that seems to lie dormant within.

The Khor project was born in the shadows of late 2024, yet its roots run deeper. Previously known as cultRa, he has spent over a decade refining his alchemic production techniques. Every sound is forged from nothingness – shaped with obsessive precision, deconstructed, and resurrected in an endless pursuit of new sonic realms.

His first live performances took shape in 2016. Since then, he has unleashed his dark sonic forces in hidden venues and ritual gatherings across Austria. Over the years, he has developed a distinct way of performing – currently performing fully improvised sets on his modular system.
